Self-Paced Courses

Self-paced Atomic Catalyst courses include a minimum of 2 collaborative webinars led by a highly-qualified facilitator as well as online resources, collaborative discussions, and facilitator feedback to help teachers build and apply new strategies and skills.
Participants Will:
- Attend collaborative webinars (scheduled, no longer than 1 hour each)
- Participate in online discussion forums (on your own time, aprox 3 hours per course)
- Complete and submit course assignments (aprox 6 hours per course)
- Learn through online resources (aprox 7 hours per course)
Prior to the course start date you will receive an email with information about how to connect to the webinars and details about getting access to the online resources.
Using the iPad™ in special education is a growing trend. But how do you get started, what is the potential, and what strengths do students need in order to be successful users of this technology? This course will answer those questions and participants will walk away with an implementation plan for a student or classroom to ensure successful use of this technology.
